Which algorithm does the app follow?
Code Blue Leader follows the Adult Cardiac Arrest algorithm from Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). This algorithm is recommended by the American Heart Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, and other international resuscitation organizations as the best response to an ongoing or imminent cardiac arrest.
I am a nurse, paramedic, or general practitioner. Is this app for me?
Built by emergency medicine physicians for all medical professionals, Code Blue Leader is designed for any ACLS-certified individual involved in cardiac arrest response. That includes hospital staff, paramedics, military medics, family doctors, and others. It is especially useful for providers who don't use their ACLS knowledge regularly and may need reminders or closer guidance through the algorithm.
What personal information is captured? How is patient privacy handled?
The Code Blue Leader app does not collect or store any personal identifying information about users or patients. Past code logs contain a detailed record of the events that took place in a clear and anonymous way.
